DesignCafe is a full-service professional interior design firm, led by dynamic architects and focused on making designer homes personalised to your tastes and needs available within your budget. We aim to bring premium design and quality to the average home buyer.

The process is weaved around giving you a custom home in your budget. We take care of every facet of your home’s interiors while you sit back and relax. The process begins when you meet our awesome design team (by booking a design consultation).

All our homes are custom-made. Orders are placed once you meet our designer and get a personalised design proposal crafted for your home.

DesignCafe provides end-to-end interior design and turnkey solutions for homes using state of the art technology and a professionally trained design team to create designer homes for people just like you.

Our professional design services include the following services:

1) Customised design as per your requirements within the standard framework of DesignCafe modules.

2) Helping you visualize your space using base 3d modelling software.

3) High- Quality 3d renders for only Bedrooms, Kitchens and Living rooms which are part of the order with DesignCafe – you can see your home in 3d.

4) Professional design services will be provided for a period of 60 days from the date of sign up with DesignCafe with a free extension of 15 days in case of delays.

5) Electrical modification plans and false ceiling plans if the same are ordered with DC.

6) Material selection and recommendations for entire order with DC.

7) Lighting, wallpaper and wall decor recommendations and selections as part of selection visits.

The custom design process starts after you sign up with DesignCafe and have paid the 10% advance.

DesignCafe is led by award-winning architects Gita Ramanan and Shezaan Bhojani. With over 2 decades of design experience between them, the dynamic duo has designed home across the country and have been well-recognized, awarded and featured for their work and knowledge including a keynote address at various design conferences around the world and on TEDx.

Their experience of working and crafting designer homes is now accessible to everyone through the DC design team which is personally trained by them. Their mission is twofold: to Democratize Design: to make it accessible to everyone irrespective of their budget and to create Designer Homes that are Inspired by the requirements, ideas, dreams & aspirations of clients. Each design goes through strict design scrutiny and checks to ensure it meets the high standards of excellence that DesignCafe stands for. The consultation takes place at a DesignCafe experience centre near you or through virtual meetings as per your convenience.  At the experience centre, you can not only meet our designers but also touch and feel our amazing products and unmatched quality.

They will help you navigate through the maze that home interiors is, helping you understand how to best use your space, what colours will work well and even what kind of lighting to use. Our team will also help you understand various materials in the market and what is best suited for your home and needs. In the end, you will be crafting a designer home using our professional expertise, making your every day better.

All extra services like civil work, electrical, false ceiling can be taken up by DC. These will be based on our standard fixed rates which include labour management and installation on your behalf. The Final cost of these services will be made as per actuals after signup and site visits & measurements will be a part of your final estimate or bill.

We have a dedicated Client Happiness manager that will help solve any problems you may face and will continue to provide you with after-sales service in line with our warranty policy. At DesignCafe we work with only the best national and international brands sourcing directly from them: Hettich, Grass, Merino, St. Gobain, Asian Paints and Greenlam are a few brands we work with. For a detailed reference of materials and brands we work with, please check your estimate or ask your dedicated designer to share the list.

Our standard timeline for delivery is 60 days from the day of payment of 60% of the total order value and design sign off. This includes procurement, production, multiple quality checks and installation by our trained team.

While we try to ensure that every home is delivered on-time, every time, due to unforeseen circumstances or disruption in the supply chain that is out of our control, there may be a delay in some cases whereby we will keep you informed at all times and try our best to deliver as fast as possible.

You no longer have to worry about going to site to check quality or progress, our trained team of project managers tracks everything and ensures that your home is delivered on time and with care. This is part of our service and costs are included in your estimate, that means you pay nothing extra for professional site management services.

Our team takes the utmost care to ensure that your home stays protected during our installation process. We can also cover all switches and flooring to ensure that it is protected to the maximum level possible.

DesignCafe homes come with a 10-year warranty. Please check your product document at the time of order or your warranty card for details.

The warranty is applicable only to modular furniture made and installed by DesignCafe which specifically carries the warranty.

A valid proof of purchase or warranty card must be shown to avail the warranty.

Upon approval of warranty claim, the product will be repaired or replaced with the same or comparable product with a value not higher than the price of the original product purchased.

Due to material and finish variation, the replaced product may not be an exact replica of the installed product and there may be some variation due to batch differences in laminate, veneer or any other used material.

In the event that repair work has been done to a product without any authorisation from DesignCafe, the product’s warranty coverage is automatically void.

All modular furniture does not automatically come with a 10-year warranty, products with a 10-year warranty will be specifically mentioned as such.

Warranty terms and conditions are fixed, non-negotiable, non-transferable and only benefits the original purchasers of the product.

To products or furniture that have been stored or assembled incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, altered, misused, or cleaned with wrong methods of cleaning or cleaning products or material.

Unusual wear and tear, scratches, cuts or damage caused by impacts or accidents or by abnormal or unintended use of the product or furniture.

If products have been placed in a humid environment or if the products have been used for non-domestic purposes or outdoors (unless otherwise stated).

To consequential or incidental damages.

The warranty is not absolute and is applicable only on the modular woodwork.

Our quality control teams decision on warranty validity or damage is final and binding on the purchaser.

Every DesignCafe estimate is based on your first interaction with our design team and captures your basic requirements. The price is calculated based on the floor plan shared by you or available online, which means that the sizes are tentative and subject to change based on actual measurements or a change in requirements.

Since each unit is custom designed and may include many moving parts, we do not have a standard square foot cost. Our costing is generated by our in-house software that ensures fair pricing for all our customers and is based on an individual unit basis.

Each product is priced individually based on its size, its design, the material finish and hardware used as well storage options. The prices are generated dynamically from our software based on your custom design, giving you full flexibility to create designer homes.

At DesignCafe we accept payments via cheque, online transfer or through your credit or debit cards.
