Job Description / Responsibilities
- Define the vision, research and analyse market, the users, road-map and growth opportunities for product/multiple products
- Own and manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, concept to launch
- Ability to transform marketing insights into viable products by working closely with Tech team
- Understand Consumer and Market need gaps to design and develop new products and processes
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
- User Experience and Requirements Definition: Develop a high-quality product
- Requirement Document (PRDs) and effectively prioritize and manage the scope of each product launch to deliver key capabilities on time and on budget
- Deliver Market Requirement Document (MRDs) and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Collaborate with all teams (primarily Engineering, Design, Business, Operations and Senior Leadership) through market requirements, product vision, and positioning
- Work with teams like Customer Service, Inside Sales, Operations etc. to improve our customer retention, identify avenues for cross-selling/up-selling at a product level
- Working closely with the Engineering team & Design team to deliver on the agreed timelines
Desired profile of the candidate
- MBA degree from a premier institute and prior startup experience
- A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects
- Bias for action, and experience making things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in defining the market and product requirements, working with engineering organizations to rapidly deliver high-impact capabilities to market. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics
